課程概述

The course introduces the issues of geriatric and long term care in order to help students to understand the basic concepts of elderly services and long term. 

課程目標
 At the end of the semester, students should be able to:
(1). understand the aging population and their health care needs;
(2). understand the physical and psychosocial status of older adults;
(3). understand the health problems and health care needs of older adults;
(4). understand the meanings and resources of long term care;
(5). understand the management of care;
(6). understand the meaning of team work and the roles of transdisciplinary in long term care;
(7). understand the policy and development of long term care in Taiwan and other countries
